Custom-made medical devices, surgical guides, anatomical models and digital planning — from CT/DICOM data, for a specific clinical task. The specialities and entry points are listed below.

Acetabular cups and augments, corrective osteotomy, knee revision surgery and articular surface replacement.

Patient-specific PEEK and titanium cranial plates, guides and templates, and complex cranial reconstructions.

TMJ, orbit, zygomatico-orbital region, microsurgery, reconstruction plates, splints and models.

Bone defect reconstruction and repair after resection: maxillofacial, joint and pelvic components.

Patient-specific contouring with PEEK implants: chin, mandibular angles and contour, cheekbones, orbit.

CT data, a 3D model of the anatomy, design of patient-specific devices and guides, and approval with the surgeon.
Every speciality follows the same engineering and manufacturing route. At each stage the clinical decision remains with the surgeon.
The physician sends the DICOM per the speciality protocol together with a description of the task.
Manual image processing, an anatomically accurate 3D model.
Joint planning: geometry, axes, zones and fixation points.
An implant, guide or template; approved before manufacturing.
Certified medical PEEK printing, polymer guides and models. Titanium is printed at a contract manufacturer; quality control is done in-house.
The device, guides and models together with supporting materials.
The same route for veterinary cases — the Veterinary section.
Protocols by speciality — view.
Contour implants, cranial plates, orbital and zygomatic plates, TMJ prostheses, reconstruction plates and subperiosteal frameworks — made individually from the patient's CT.

With the clinical task and correct data: CT/DICOM per the speciality protocol. An engineer assesses whether the data is suitable and whether planning is possible; a 3D model is then built and the design is agreed with the surgeon.
It is designed for the specific anatomy from the CT data: the geometry and the fixation zones and points are calculated in advance and agreed before manufacturing. The physician determines applicability and the choice of method.
Medical-grade Ti-6Al-4V titanium, PEEK, biocompatible photopolymers for guides and models, and ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene for articular surfaces — depending on the clinical task.

Bonabyte device images and 3D renders. Manufactured individually from the patient's CT.
The information on this website is intended for healthcare professionals and does not constitute medical advice, a public offer or a guarantee of clinical outcome. Bonabyte devices are custom-made medical devices designed for a specific clinical task; their applicability depends on the CT data, the anatomy, the condition of the soft tissues, the surgical access and the operative plan. The final decision on the use of a device is made by the treating physician. Contraindications exist and an individual assessment of the clinical situation is required.
